Optimal
O-Wave做即時的SI驗證;透過O-wave 獨步業界的Multi-grid AV

The objective of this seminar is to demonstrate the benefit of combined
Microwave Office and O-Wave solution to both AWR and Optimal users
who are working on signal integrity or RFIC designs. The Microwave Office
users can take advantage of O-Wave's fast 3D full-wave extraction
capability. The O-Wave users can take advantage of Microwave Office's
rich front-end and post-processing framework. |

產品簡介:
AWR
Microwave Office is the complete linear and nonlinear solution for microwave hybrid, module
and MMIC design. It includes linear, harmonic-balance, and time-domain simulation, in a single
integrated environment that also features EM simulation and physical layout. Microwave Office
combines an advanced IC and PCB layout editor with world-class circuit simulation and
electromagnetic (EM) analysis tools. It includes linear and nonlinear noise analysis in a single
integrated environment that also features EM analysis, physical layout, and design rule
checking. Microwave Office expands the functionality of the design suite into layout for MMIC,
LTCC and RF printed circuit boards. Users can take designs from concept through to production
without ever leaving the Microwave Office design environment. Microwave Office also includes
extensive models, statistical design and yield analysis capabilities, and an optional data
migration tool for importing designs from Agilent/EEsof's Series IV and ADS products.
EM Socket.
AWR worked with leading EM simulation companies to create the EM Socket interface, which
interfaces with virtually any EM simulator and seamlessly integrates third-party design tools into
the AWR high-frequency design environment. By leveraging AWR’s component object model
(COM) architecture, the EM Socket provides a level of circuit-to-EM integration that goes well
beyond traditional standards of interoperability, which typically use cumbersome file transfer
methods. This open socket standard enables users to access multiple EM simulators, from a
variety of vendors, without leaving the AWR design environment. The solution facilitates greater
flexibility in design methodology while providing a common user interface.
Analog Office. design suite is the first complete IC design system in over ten years that is
specifically architected and optimized from the ground up for next generation analog and RFIC
designs. The solution, which is focused on total RF closure, boasts an industry-first, concurrent
interconnect-driven and RF-aware design methodology in a unified design environment that
delivers unprecedented ease-of-use, interactivity and openness. The Analog Office design suite
is fully integrated into existing digital and mixed signal IC design flows and enables analog and
RFIC design engineers to significantly shorten their development cycles and speed wireless
products to market.
Microwave OfficeR
Optimal
O-Wave.
As designs move from 130nm to 90nm and beyond, advanced SoC designs call for more layers,
higher speeds and mixed-signal integration, quasi-static solutions are proving to be inadequate.
To meet the new design challenges, only full-wave signal integrity solutions will provide the
accuracy required to adequately perform RLGC parasitic extraction or S-parameter analysis for
IC-Package-PCB co-design.
O-Wave. is a high-speed, high-accuracy 3D full-wave extraction tool for simulation and
verification of complex, high-frequency IC, package and PCB designs. In comparison, quasistatic
tools do not provide enough accuracy for high-speed designs and full-wave alternatives
can not efficiently handle complex structures due to speed and computer capacity limitations. OWave
provides accurate output results up to 10x faster than full-wave alternatives, making OWave
a very powerful, efficient solution for signal integrity design.
